HMS King George V, May 1941

Russell shows us his HMS King George V, built using Tamiya’s Prince of Wales kit as a base, with aftermarket items from WEM, Eduard and Northstar.

Greetings fellow Model Shipwrights.

Some of you will have seen the build over on the old site, but since that has now been archived I thought it was time to make feature of my completed HMS King George V as she was in May 1941 for the Bismarck chase, built using Tamiya’s Prince of Wales kit as a base, with aftermarket items from WEM, Eduard and Northstar. Paints are enamels from Colourcoats and Humbrol.
