Being Surcease In Preparation June 1944

A stunning diorama of the preparation of the Landing Craft Assault or LCA for short heading towards D-Day from modeller Gary Radford.
The LCA (Landing Craft Assault) is the basic landing craft of the British Army. Drawn and produced in 1939, this craft is the English equivalent of the American LCVP and can contain between 30 and 35 soldiers according to their equipment and missions.

Adie Roberts continues his inspirations series to help modellers of all abilities to work out of their comfort zone building dioramas or just trying new builds. 

While searching the www for inspiration I came across a black and white photograph and thought why not?
Some stunning work on the concrete discolouration, cracks, grass and weeds coming through
