Excellent progress Mr Inman!

As Russ says, excellent progress!!
No doubt, Warren, commissioning is nearing, and Fuso is looking great! Amazing amount of detail!! - and I do know what you mean with all those small parts slowing you down, for sure!

Cheers,
Jan

Thanks guys.

Think I might do my first 1/200 ship next.

Cheers

Hi Warren!

Great to see you back in business!! Very nice work on your Fuso indeed! Looking forward to your updates in the good old Warren-fashion

And fully agreed on PB, I skipped them quite a while ago.

Cheers,
Jan

Thanks Jan.

And now for another update.

It's getting closer and closer to completion..

As you can see not almost there, but it is the small jobs (railings etc) that a;ways take the most time.

Cheers

Good to see some progress again Warren

Looking good, the bridge structure looks excellent,

cheers,

Si

Thanks Si.

The Etch has been a bit of a chore as the instructions are not good in any Fujimi sets unfortunately.

Cheers

Nice progress btw!

Hi Warren!

It has been a long time since you were last here! Great to see you back & with progress on the Fuso!

You have been out of the loop haven't you? Photo bucket have changed their rules & no longer allow 3rd party hosting of images unless of course you pay an exorbitant fee!!!

It's caused mayhem for anyone with all their images on Photobucket!!!

Hi Russell.

Yes I have been out of the loop but PB can jam their fees up their butts as there are many free places out there who will do the job. I don't make money out of these posts so why should PB expect money from me to host photos?

Anyway, some more up to date photos for you all..

Let's see if that works.

Cheers

It has been so long since I uploaded anything I have to learn all over again!

Here are some progress pics in no particular order.

In reality the ship is almost finished and I will add another update soon after I have taken some more photos.

Cheers

Looks like someone has hacked my Photobucket account and has filled it up with photos not of my making. Will have to fix it somehow. But anyway I will just have to go back to uploading here by the look of it... for the moment anyway. Update soon.

Thanks Warren. I was looking at one of those wood decks for my 1/700 Naiad build. After seeing your results I think I'll hold off and see how I do with oils to replicate the decking. That being said--your ship looks AMAZING.

The deck for something that small wouldn't look very realistic I don't think. This is not the best wooden deck I have used. Very few of the holes in the deck lined up with holes in the plastic.
